Green with whipped cream

I embellished a t-shirt! I got this t-shirt at Banana Republic, but I never really liked wearing it. What do you think? My mother calls it my leprechaun t-shirt, but I think it's darling. (I might wear it on St. Patrick's Day next year though)

Women's Chorus Anniversary Concert!

I just finished the final concert of the year with Women's Chorus! In this last show, I had a small acting role. I needed to be a frivolous girl that a boy named Antonio was pining for. Sister Applonie wanted someone with a flamboyant personality wearing a big bow or flower for the part, so she thought of me! I put this headpiece together and she loved it!

Hayli and Karstin sewing extravaganza!

Hayli wanted to make an apron for her friend, so we had a sewing party! Obviously we had to wear tutu's. We made our own pattern.

Transformations!

This pink polyester dress used to have long sleeves. I transformed it into a halter dress. I love the keyhole detail.

Mini skirt transformed to a skirt suitable for church!
I wanted the scalloped edges not to be sewn down, but free. I finished the edges of it by hand and then sewed a straight line at the top to attach the bottom part of the skirt to the top.

Merry Christmas!

Dani and I decorated our apartment by hanging ornaments from fishing wire! Doesn't it look pretty?

Costuming for the Shakespeare Festival

Gabriel is directing the group of students from the Liahona Academy for the Shakespeare Festival and asked me to be the wardrobe chair. It has been a delight working with these kids! I know they'll be great!
